Privacy Policy

What Eventifyme collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to delete it.

The short version

We collect the least we can to build your plan and pass your request to the vendors you choose. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

If you plan an event: your budget, guest count, area, date and style choices (these work without an account). If you sign in: your email address and, if you give it, your name, plus the events you save. If you contact a vendor through Eventifyme: your name, email, message and event details. If you list a business: the business details you enter and the email that receives leads. Phone and WhatsApp numbers of vendors are never shown on public pages; they are revealed one at a time when a visitor asks.

Cookies

evf_session keeps you signed in. evf_a is a random number that joins the steps of one visit so we can see where people get stuck; it carries no personal information. evf_src remembers which link first brought you here (for example an Instagram post), for 90 days. Our pages also load Google Analytics 4, which sets its own cookies to measure visits in aggregate; we do not send it names, emails or event details. You can block cookies in your browser; planning still works, signing in does not.

Who we share it with

The vendor you send a request to receives your name, email, message and event details - that is the point of sending it. Our service providers process data for us and nowhere else: Railway (hosting and database), Resend (sending email), Google (Analytics), OpenStreetMap (map tiles), and Stripe (only if you choose a paid feature; we never see full card numbers). We will disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Saved events and account details stay until you delete them. Inquiries stay so vendors keep their own record; if you delete your account, your name, email and message are removed from them. Anonymous visit data is kept for up to two years.

Your choices

Delete your account and saved events yourself from My Events at any time. Email us for a copy of your data or to correct it. We never send marketing email; the only emails you get are ones you asked for (sign-in codes, your plan, replies from vendors, and a one-time note if a vendor has not answered).

Children

Eventifyme is for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
